How to
How to
Sprinkle about ¼ teaspoon onto your wet hands for short to medium length hair. Sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon for medium to long length hair.
Lather to activate until it starts to foam. Apply and massage into wet hair. If there is not enough add a little more powder until you have the desired amount. Lastly, rinse out your hair thoroughly.

• Our dry formulas are concentrated, lightweight and have a lower carbon footprint than liquid alternatives
• 100% Waterless formulas: Water is a finite resource; our dry formulas help do their part in the water scarcity crisis, which has become a major ecological concern. Not only our formulas have more potent actives but also a lower carbon footprint.
• Bottle: our aluminium bottles (including lid) are lightweight, compact and recyclable. They are designed to be refilled with our certified home compostable refills.
• End of life:
Bottle: if you choose not to refill, your aluminium bottle can be recycled. Please remove the label first, give the bottle a quick rinse and put in your kerbside collection (NZ only) or local metal recycler. Unfortunately our label cannot be recycled yet. We are working towards having it directly printed onto the bottle.
Packaging: our box and paper sleeves are FSC certified and printed with naturally derived inks. They can be home composted or recycled with your paper/cardboard collection.

Do your products lather?
They sure do. When activated with water, our innovative skin, hair bodycare powders will transform from a powder to a rich lather.
This luxurious creamy lather is obtained without any sulfates. Instead, we have chosen to only use a gentle coconut-derived surfactant suitable even for children or sensitive scalps or skin. Rinsing is also very easy and you waste less water, even in the shower.
How do I store my Dust&Glow powders?
Here are some easy & simple tips on how to store your favourite Dust&Glow powders:
- Close the cap: After use, it's important to close the cap to prevent moisture and humidity from getting into the bottle. This will help keep the powder fresh and dry.
- Keep away from direct water flow: While our powders are designed to be waterless, it's still important to keep them away from direct water flow in the shower. This will prevent any accidental splashes or drips from getting into the bottle and affecting the powder.
- Consider using a small built-in or add-on shelf: If you're worried about water getting into the bottle, consider using a small built-in shelf in your shower to keep the bottle elevated and away from any potential water sources.
Wow. I am blown away with the D&G powder based shampoo and conditioner. The powder lathered up as promised. It felt great. My oily hair stayed clean and shiny longer than when I was using my other shampoo. I’ll definitely buy this again!

The best purchase I ever made! I brought these before I went on a 6 month overseas trip wanting to cut down on liquids and weight in my bag. These products lasted me the whole trip away and I still have at least 1/4 of each product meaning I didn't have to worry about buying shampoo, conditioner and body wash the whole time I was away! They also were life changing for my hair and skin. Traveling through Africa I had to use some questionable water but these products kept my hair and skin hydrated and healthy! If you are at all considering purchasing any of these products I would 110% recommend!
I've tried a range of planet friendly options including bar products and have been using Dust and Glow for several weeks now. It doesn't weigh my very fine hair down and the application is easier than the bar options. My itchy scalp has cleared up within a week and my hair stays looking fresh longer.
I've opted for the paper packs to replenish my mini bottles which means its easy to grab my little bottles for trips away from home and not worry about spills.
The body wash, hair shampoo and conditioner are all fantastic products in the way they function. I love they use less water and that containers are refillable. I do miss a bit of fragrance in the shampoo and conditioner.
